The first BTHS Library Book Swap for NYC Climate Day of Action was a sweet success. The library had the opportunity to partner with the SGO sub-committee, the Sustainability Committee, to increase participation and advocacy. Students and staff brought used and new-ish condition books and swapped for other titles. Participants enjoyed seeing their old books made new in the hands of others.
Any books that were not claimed will be placed in local Free Library bins. Thank you to everyone who participated and kept books out of the landfills or even paper recycling. Scroll down to see our swappers in action!
