Celebrating Original Children's Books

This year we were thrilled to have both Ms. McCullough and Mr. Ree's Creative Writing elective classes participate in the annual NYC Ezra Jack Keats bookmaking competition. Students worked on developing simple plots (or explaining concepts) alongside compelling artwork, to create beautiful and memorable children's books. Ultimately, our schoolwide winner was Space Doctor Milfred by Jiamin Zeng, which also went on to be a City Winner in the High School Level in the competition!
